Late last summer I decided to strap a board to little Yoyo and take a lap around the Olympic Peninsula out to Hoebuck and try my luck at a few of the small peelers coming in.

It was Labor day weekend so the beach was packed with folks from all over. After a long chat with some Vancouver surf bros about the area and the local Native American tribe, I suited up and caught a few rippers.

I left just in time to catch the sunset on the drive through Neah Bay and the Straights Of Juan De Fuca. Yoyo might not have much under the hood, but she sure knows how to be in the right place at the right time.
